From the Author

"The Wild Keeps Her Holy" is first & foremost, stemmed from my journey of leaving the mormon church, after being a lifelong member & surviving ongoing abuse in a religious setting as a young teenager. Each poem was placed with purpose, & this collection is meant to be a structured journey of grief, love, & healing, and read in the order they appear. As for other things you will find on her pages... this book is also pieces of many people. Many places. Stories I have read in the eyes of others. Poems from my younger years that sat hidden in binders for 15 years. Newer ones that have come since I started writing again. Little thoughts that come in the night. Longer pieces that come on days when the smell of rain and the laughter of my children, is too beautiful to not put into words. Losing people forever that I once loved. Finding people who I know will love me forever just as I am. I started writing poetry at a young age, but out of religious fear, I stopped sharing it, or believing that anyone would ever want to read it. In 2016, I started posting my poetry, illustrations, & word art, on instagram, as a way to heal, & try to help others. I decided to publish this book for my sweet readers, who have inspired me with their own stories of survival & love (you have helped my own healing journey more than you know and you know who you are) and also because it is my hope that maybe, just maybe... one of these little poems, thoughts, &/or images, might give one other person the hope & knowledge, that there is someone out there who understands the pain, of what you are going through. There is a sacredness in being both lost & free. I hope you feel that as you read these words.Never give up. Keep searching for the light. Because it will never stop searching for you. I don’t know what this is. Word art? Some pages have 5 words on it. I also thought it would be more about nature (hence why I bought it), but it’s all about some unrequited, sentimental, teenage un-love. If you’re 15 and are getting over your first break-up - then buy this book, by all means.

Tiffany writes with so much honesty that it is hard not to connect with even if you came into reading the book with a bias. And we all come into reading books with our own histories and lenses through which we see the world. However, this book will captivate you right away. I have the privilege of also owning her first book, which I enjoyed tremendously...but what is different about this one is a resounding warrior spirit exuding through the pages. Readers become witnesses to her journey not only of survival, but also rebirth and flourishing. Tiffany delves into hard topics in here. I commend her for her bravery. She could have very easily just stuck with generic themes that appealed to the masses...and yet...she again finds the courage to share her own truth and follow her own path. She is a light in the literary world and she will inspire you to be a better person through her words.

I could not put this book down. Every time I tried to close it, I told myself “just read one more page”. The words flew off the pages and literally hit my heart. Tiffany’s words are so bold and powerful, but still contain a certain softness which is totally relatable. The book is littered with pages that I’ve earmarked as favorites!

When I received this book I literally could not put it down until I had finished it. It is so full of emotion and beautifully expressed words. Her heart bleeds on each page and screams softly of her willingness to open up about her struggles and vulnerability. I have read this book 4 times already and will continue to pull it out to read for years to come because the poems are that good and timeless, like a favorite song you never get tired of hearing. Something that has become a part of my life that I can’t imagine living without now that I have it.I could go on, but let me end this review with a few choice pieces (and no these aren’t spoilers, because this book is full of beautiful pieces from beginning to end)“October will always belong to the way you held my hand”“What I will always be meaning when I write us down: the poetry is all you have left of me”“I was not born to kneel to the chaos within me. I was born to rule it”What more is there to say. Thank you Tiffany for the gift of your words.

This collection of poems is deeply beautiful and relatable on every level. I have loved making my way through the beautiful words written on each page and would recommend this book to anyone in search of an amazing collection of poems. Definitely an all-time favorite to keep on the shelf forever.

Absolutely breathtaking! I cried. I smiled. I felt every single word with each page! Tiffany's heart was shown with every poem. I was transported into a journey that I desperately needed. I couldnt stop turning the pages. I found myself staring at the poem on page 118 and just crying. It felt as if it was writing for me.What a journey!

I adore this magic. They way she expresses emotion through words - the connection you get from reading every piece. If you’ve ever felt alone, these words remind you that you aren’t, and make you hopeful for tomorrow. Love it!

The Wild Keeps Her Holy is exactly what I have been trying to find. My daughter has gone through some serious trauma and it has affected all of our family. This book has been an answer to my countless prayers. I found comfort and hope in its pages. Tiffany has a gift. She paints pictures- not with paint - but, with her words. As I read this beautiful book my spirit was calmed and healing tears ran down my face. My heart, as a mother of a victim, found strength in these pages. I have passed my copy along to my daughter and I’m going to buy a few more as presents. When you love something share it!
